About the project
The development of Aguada Jail as a tourist destination under the Swadesh Darshan scheme has successfully transformed it into a popular attraction in Goa. Through the restoration of historical structures, beautification of surroundings, and infrastructure development, the project has preserved an important piece of Goa’s history and enhanced the visitor experience. This has contributed to increased tourism in the region and boosted the local economy.
BCPL ROLE
M/s Bagkiya Construction Pvt. Ltd. was the contractor for the Morjim Khind development project. They oversaw the construction of various facilities, including a parikrama pathway, approach road, play equipment, jetty, boats, and a shed for an open-air restaurant. Their expertise was crucial in transforming Morjim Khind into a more attractive tourist destination.
